Operator and acceptance
These Terms of Service govern your use of IdeaReels, operated by Vincent Ploum ("IdeaReels," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use IdeaReels.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these terms to use IdeaReels. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for activity that occurs through your account, and for keeping your login credentials secure.
What the service does
IdeaReels generates startup concepts, market-signal summaries, and technical implementation blueprints using AI and other software systems. Outputs are provided for informational purposes only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable for your specific use case.
Credits, pricing, and payments
IdeaReels sells one-time credit packs. Prices are shown in USD unless we say otherwise. Credits do not expire once purchased unless required by law. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you agree to provide valid payment information and authorize the charges you initiate.
Failed generations and refunds
Completed generations are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If a paid research run or blueprint fails to generate because of a service error, our sole obligation is to rerun the generation, restore the credit, or issue a refund, at our discretion. We may require enough information to verify the failure before issuing a refund or credit.
Your inputs
You retain whatever rights you have in the prompts, ideas, and other content you submit to IdeaReels. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
Outputs and AI limitations
As between you and IdeaReels, we assign to you any rights we may have in the outputs generated specifically for your use, to the extent allowed by law. Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users or from similar prompts. We do not guarantee that outputs are unique, non-infringing, protectable, or fit for commercial use without further review.
Public catalog
Some ideas that meet our internal quality threshold may be included in a public IdeaReels catalog in de-identified or summarized form. You can opt out of catalog publication from your account settings. Your opt-out will apply on a forward-looking basis and may not require us to remove material that was already lawfully published before the opt-out was processed.
Acceptable use
You may not use IdeaReels for illegal activity, fraud, infringement, harassment, malware, abusive automation, unauthorized scraping, attempts to disrupt the service, or attempts to extract confidential prompts, models, or system logic. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Third-party services
IdeaReels relies on third-party providers including Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, Cloudflare, Render, and Resend. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or policy decisions made by those third-party services, although we will try to manage the service responsibly around them.
Suspension, termination, and deletion
We may suspend or terminate access to IdeaReels if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, abused the service, created legal risk, or threatened the security or availability of the platform. You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account using available account tools.
Disclaimers
IdeaReels is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement to the fullest extent allowed by law. IdeaReels does not provide legal, tax, investment, accounting, or business advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, IdeaReels and its operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to IdeaReels in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IdeaReels and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
Changes to the service and terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of IdeaReels at any time. We may also update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version and update the effective date. Your continued use of the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to those courts’ jurisdiction.
