Who we are

What we collect
We collect account information such as your email address, payment-related metadata from Stripe, prompts and idea inputs you submit, generated outputs, credit usage, support messages, and technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and server logs.
How we use it
We use your data to create and secure your account, deliver AI-generated ideas, market research, and blueprints, track credits, process payments, send transactional emails, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the service.
Legal bases
Where applicable, we process personal data because it is necessary to perform our contract with you, because it serves our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, because you consented to the processing, or because we are required to do so by law.
Public catalog
Some ideas that meet our quality threshold may be published in the public IdeaReels catalog in a de-identified or summarized form. We do not intend to publish your account identity with those entries. You can opt out of catalog publication from your account settings. De-identification reduces risk but may not make an idea impossible to recognize in all cases.
Third-party services
We use service providers including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, OpenAI for AI generation, Cloudflare for DNS and edge services, Render for hosting, and Resend for transactional email. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments.
International transfers
IdeaReels and its service providers may process data in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual and legal transfer mechanisms.
Retention
We keep payment and tax-related records for up to 7 years where required for legal and accounting purposes. Operational logs are generally retained for up to 90 days. Other account data is kept while your account remains active and is deleted or de-identified after account deletion unless we need to keep it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Cookies
We use only cookies and similar technologies that are reasonably necessary to authenticate users, maintain sessions, secure the service, and support core product functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, export, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. You can use in-product tools where available or contact [email protected], and we will process valid requests within a reasonable period and no later than legally required.
US state privacy disclosures
IdeaReels does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in US state privacy laws. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.
Children
IdeaReels is not intended for children under 16, and you may not use the service if you are under 16. If we learn that we collected personal data from a child under 16 in violation of this policy, we will delete it.
Changes and contact
